Ylvas posts pics of her dad’s days of serving Sweden, circa 1938. The young men pictured persuaded the government to allow them to work sans uniforms and weapons.

notes from Ylvas : All these photos called “Sunnanås” – I will post a few more, are from my fathers military service. He and the other boys in this group succeded to get acceptance to do that without weapons and uniforms. I don´t know much about this, my father never spoke of it, and I have realized this from the photos. I didn´t even know it was possible 1938, later when I was young it was a more known of. I have decided to try to find out a little more.
