The Modern Sound Trio was a jazz group composed of all blind high school students. The guitar player is José Feliciano, Puerto Rican born guitar legend and writer of the classic carol “Feliz Navidad.” This was his first appearance on television at the age of 17.

This song “No Dogs Allowed” was written after Feliciano’s seeing eye dog (who you can see on stage in “Flight of the Bumblebee”) was denied entry into England (dogs must be quarantined for six months before entering the country).
